Digital Bangladesh

Today the dream of the people of Bangladesh is to develop digital Bangladesh, but it is a matter of great regret that most of the people of our country do not even know “What is digital Bangladesh?” In simple words we can say that in digital Bangladesh there will be no corruption, no terrorism, no pollution. There will be adoption of modern technologies, people will be more educated, logical and systematic in their respective works. Our government has developed the great idea of making digital Bangladesh but young people are they who can make it possible. If they are not aware of it then Bangladesh can never be the digital one.

Today young people are very much conscious about their rights, duties and responsibilities. They are making people aware of it. Now people are taking degree from foreign countries and serving Bangladesh, their homeland. They are very much interested to serve the rural people and to make them aware of their duties and responsibilities. If everyone in this country are conscious about what they are doing and perform their tasks properly, very soon we will be the successful residents of digital Bangladesh.
we are very glad to be a part of those young people who can make it happen, and every young people in this country should be.

Martyr Intellectual day

Shohid buddhijibi dibosh

Yesterday, 14 December was our national mourning day. It is martyr intellectual day. The history of this day is not unknown to anyone in this country as well as out side the world. If we recall the history we see that Bangladesh was part of Pakistan. Bangladeshi’s were dominated by Pakistani’s. At that time Bangladesh was enriched with young talents like doctors, engineers, singers, poets, and so on. They are those young people who denied this domination, and started protesting through their works. Singers started singing songs, poets started writing against discrimination. They tried to make people aware of their rights. They wanted to be independent, and wanted to keep the glorious “SHONAR BANGLA” through their young thoughts and talents. So they started encouraging people to be independent. Pakistani’s took in as a threat. They were afraid of loosing a golden part of Pakistan. They took many steps to stop those young people but failed. Finally, they killed those intellectual persons to save their country from being destroyed. Intellectuals are killed but their spirit was alive among the hearts of Bangladeshi’s, and as a result of their spirit Bangladeshi’s fought against Pakistani’s and became independent.

An Uncommon Picnic

One day some of my friends decided to go for picnic. After that we all started finding the best place where we can go for a picnic. Everyone was suggesting different places, but one of my friends said, “Let’s go to an old home.” Most surprisingly all of us agreed to go there.

On the required day we went to an old home which is on Gazipur. We were amazed to go there. It is a large area with two separate buildings for male and female, hospital, park and so on. The facilities are well enough and management is very friendly. The old people living there we very pleased with their behavior. We spent the whole day there, talked with them, and also played some games. They became very happy.

That day we realized that people become very helpless and feel very lonely without their near and dear ones. They pass their days with grate difficulty blaming their fates. We leant that we should treat our parents in the same way they have treated with us, and should never hurt them.

Young people can realize this condition very well and can also make people aware of it.

Young Concern

In this world there are some great people who find their success among the sweet smile of distressed people. One of them is my neighbor, Sara. She lives in a well off family and doing her A level’s, but along with this she teaches some blind students. She teaches them with out any tuition fees. She provides every thing to the students that they need for doing their studies. She bears all the expenses with her pocket money an a little salary which she gets from a part time job. Almost 15-20 students read there up to class eight. Their parents are very pleased at and grateful to Sara. Many people of our society praised this young girl because of her willingness to enlighten the whole society through these children.

Young Youth in the winter

This is the month of December. The winter season is going on. Some rich people take it as blessing, but most of the people of Bangladesh take it as a curse. Rich people think of taking fresh date juice where poor people die in need of proper clothes and daily food, but who cares???? No one thinks for them except some conscious young people.

Last Thursday I was passing through a road and noticed that there was a little gathering of people. I stopped there and noticed some young boys and girls were giving warm clothes and some food to the poor families. There I came to know that they have collected some money from their parents, relatives, added their pocket money, and bought those clothes and foods for those street people. All of the street people were very happy to have the gifts, and blessed them with a grateful heart. This kind of thinking within the people is very rare, but it should be on them. Young people are they who can encourage other people to have this tendency in themselves.

Changing thoughts

We always notice one thing that most of the young boys and girls go to abroad to study, and do part time jobs there. Some of them work in restaurants, flower shops, even some people clean wash rooms without hesitation. They take it as their job, but in Bangladesh young people do not even want to tidy up their rooms. Most of the people of our country are unemployed only for their negative attitude towards some work. But, I am happy to realize that now-a-days thoughts are changing….

Like, Last Thursday I was walking along the road and noticed that some young boys and girls of a renowned university were cleaning the path outside the Mosque and some of them are cleaning and washing the Mosque without and hesitation. Some of the girls were planting small plants in front of the mosque. I think It is really a very positive sign to the development of Bangladesh.

So, if the attitude of the young people changes in the positive way, we will sure to see the golden face of Bangladesh very soon.

IS IT A WEDDING?!!?

There is a saying that “ young people can do anything and every thing if they want.” In this Eid-Ul-Azha I realized this saying in a very different way.
At the day before Eid-Ul-Azha I was sitting on my veranda and reading a story book. Suddenly I heard a noise of young boys along with the sound of drums. Hearing that sound my mom came to veranda and told me, “ There must be any Hindu wedding where they may welcome the groom in a festive environment.” I also agreed her, but within a moment I realized that the drums were played to welcome the cows which were bought for qurbani. Some of the boys and children were dancing in front of it..?!? But beyond the fun I noticed that everyone was enjoying that moment leaving their works.

In Dhaka city all the people are very ambitious and remain busy with their works. Even they do not have much time to celebrate any occasion. In this situation, That funny incident really made me so amazed to realize that how they make me as well as the people of our locality so happy through a fun.
So, I think it is not the waste of money, or beyond our religion. It was done only to create a festive environment and to make people have a lot.
